Community Care

Community Care deals with the care people receive in their own homes, institutional accommodation or from health and housing services.

Our Community Care department offers assistance to help access social care services other public institutions for those who are not receiving the care they need.

We believe the most vulnerable members of society are entitled to satisfactory services from institutions and organisations that have the duty to help.  If you are an asylum seeker with a pending claim or a failed asylum seeker whose cases has concluded – we can make representations to the UKBA to request that you be considered to receive accommodation and subsistence. We would ask that you be given support whilst you are waiting removal from the UK or you seek to make a fresh asylum or human rights application or whilst you wait for the outcome of their case. If you are a vulnerable British permission or have permission to stay in the UK, we can make representations to your local authority to request that community care assessments be carried out of your needs for care, subsistence and or accommodation.

Cleveland & Co is amongst a handful of firms who have been awarded a Legal Services Commission franchise for Community Care work.
